If you’re looking for a place in Jimbaran that feels like home but better, The Open House is it. This intimate hotel offers a sense of calm and authenticity that’s a breath of fresh air compared to the big resorts nearby. From the moment we arrived, the staff were impeccable—friendly, knowledgeable, and genuinely attentive. Nothing was too much trouble. A special shoutout to Cening, who went above and beyond, Eka for keeping us laughing, and Nura Hari for the incredible food. Speaking of food—don’t leave without trying the tacos and nasi goreng! Every meal was delicious. The hotel helped organize some fantastic activities for us, including a visit to the local fish market and a cooking class (highly recommend!), plus a driver to explore nearby attractions like Uluwatu Temple. The rooms? Spacious, spotless, with a comfy bed and a great shower. The pool was lovely, and the massage was pure bliss. If you want a peaceful, personal, and truly special stay in Jimbaran, this is the place. We’ll be back!

A little paradise in Jimbaran, only a few steps away from the beach. Small, cosy hotel, with very kind and professional management, you really can enjoy your holiday there. They organise everything for you if you want, and the restaurant is simply extraordinary. I would say I had the best food there in Indonesia. Although the beach is primarily used by locals and fishing boats, it is probably not the cleanest beach in Bali, but the hotel itself is spotless. The garden is beautiful with a nice pool, sunbeds, and relaxing place where you can get a massage or manicure. All the rooms have terraces with comfortable pieces of furniture and view to the pool aria. The room is equipped by everything you need and beyond. Breakfast is fabulous with many choices. But what really makes this hotel unforgettable is the people who work there and how they do everything for you. I did not want to leave this place and I am sure that I will go back again.

They went out of their way to make sure I had everything I needed, and their support really made a difference. The Balinese massages were amazing and definitely helped me recover from the flu. The spa staff were skilled and gentle, and I felt noticeably better after each session. The food was fresh, delicious, and beautifully presented. Breakfast was a highlight every morning, and the restaurant menu was full of great choices. Before I left, the team helped organize a trip to Uluwatu so I could make the most of my last day. It was the perfect way to end the stay. This place is more than just somewhere to stay—it’s a calm, welcoming space where you can really unwind. I’d love to come back.

We were skeptical while booking, but we were positively surprised, we found the place to be nicer than in the pictures and we particularly liked the relaxed atmosphere. The pool area is beautiful. The rooms are clean, with patio with direct access to the pool or a terrace at the upper floor. The restaurant of the hotel (which serves also breakfast) is very tasty for a good price. The service in the hotel is impeccable and very friendly. The beach is 2 mins away, nice beach with many fish restaurants and awesome sunsets.

Open House has very interesting architecture, cool and comfortable accommodation, a restaurant and a menu with a variety of beautiful meals and drinks. I enjoyed having numerous swims during my stay. The staff are very caring. The cheap seafood restaurants on the beach are a 5 minute walk away and the fare is excellent. Australia beaches are cleaner than Jimbaran Beaches but people were swimming in the water. Pleasant enough to walk along the beach. 15 minute taxi to the airport and 15 minute taxi to Nusa Dua The Collection fashion shopping precinct.
